Back in , there was the Office Home subscription that allowed "sharing" the subscription with up to 5 people total. But subscriptions are paid either monthly or yearly. Tell what Office bundle name you see and if it is activated. Robert, on your new computer can you try to sign into your Office Account, which would have been created by Microsoft when you first install your Office. Once you are signed to your Office Account you will see that there is an Install Button and other links to sign in and out of Offices and share Office.

It cannot be resold to anyone else. Sorry, bottom line, bad news. I strongly suspect you won't be able to move the license to the new computer.
In the future, as more of you can no longer use the keys you may want to consider switching to Microsoft Office Family.

With this information a couple of other neighbours and I decided also to buy such a licence by the same company. Meanwhile my neighbour with the first 5-user licence told me, that he got a complete install of Office and not the possibility to choose which parts Word, Excel must be installed. So, I have used this tool to make sets for each neighbour and also for myself.
I have got the account of my neighbour, who did the order, but we have Dutch W10, so all information at screens is in Dutch. I don't think it is usefull to make screendumps of these account login. I wonder, why Microsoft has accepted the activations if the Office version is illegal as you think.
At that time my advice to the neighbours was to install the free alternative LibreOffice. One neighbour has that software and then we heared of the 5-user licence.
